MBBS Eligibility Criteria & Weightage
Admissions 2021 – 22

  • Eligibility Requirements
  • Minimum 65% marks Intermediate Premedical from a recognized Pakistani Board
    From an outside Board (e.g. O/A Levels, American/Canadian High School, etc) with 65% marks equivalence with atleast three science subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics certified by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).
  • Students appearing in the November 2021 CAIE Examinations should submit their Statement of Results IMMEDIATELY UPON RESULT ANNOUNCEMENT and the IBCC equivalency as soon as available. PMC timelines will be strictly adhered to.
  • Minimum 65% marks on the Centralized National MDCAT conducted by the PMC.

  • Structure of Interview
  • The interview process shall entail filling of a general questionnaire where scenario based questions shall be asked with regards to the student, his / her interest, aspirations, extra-curricular activities, self assessment etc. Subsequently, the students shall be meeting our panel of faculty members who shall review the answers and interview the candidates and gauge:
  • Aptitude
  • Communication skills
  • Logical / analytical thinking
  • Problem solving / decision making
  • Personal attributes important to being a doctor e.g. empathy, compassion, social work
  • Character assessment to determine whether a team player, has leadership qualities etc
