Learning Resource Centre

A Learning Resource Centre has been created within the library with fifty fully computerized and internet equipped stations to facilitate web based learning. Access to network computers is available to users (students and faculty) of this facility. It is linked to the Digital library (Courtesy of HEC) with access to a large number of text books and medical journals. There is an extensive collection of audiovisual material to augment learning in various basic and clinical sciences. The lectures conducted by the faculty are uploaded in the audio visual library of LNMC and are available on request. Teaching aids such as Edmodo are also utilized to implement e-learning. Additionally, students and faculty have internet access through Wi-Fi on their phones. They have also been provided with Apps such as Pharma guide on their phones which they can use in clinics and at home as well.

Academic Council Complex Department of Health Care Education

This complex has a large auditorium, several lecture theatres and a Hospitality Suite which are fully equipped with latest audiovisual facilities. The academic council also houses the Department of Health Care Education (DHCE) to meet the changing need of the profession and ensure provision of quality education LNMC has a (DHCE) which works closely with faculty to implement integrated curricula and design and undertakes reliable modular examinations. DHCE has developed study guides which facilitates both students and faculty. The department also undertakes faculty development program.
